For the obsessive list maker and mums to be
There is no hiding the fact that I love making lists. Sometimes I don’t actually do anything with them and seem to write things down just in case. I think my memory is worse than it actually is and I want to make sure I don’t forget anything so I make lists: when going to festivals, camping, holidays, arranging parties, planning meals etc. That list can go on a bit too.
In this instance I was wanting to be prepared and I found so many different pieces of advice telling me I needed this or that. Some lists I read missed off what seemed to be quite important items from another list I would have read. Hence I made the super list, a completely over the top list of things I (as a first time mum and newbie to this game) thought would be useful to take to hospital when having a baby, including the kitchen sink (well not quite).
If nothing else this is good for a laugh (luckily I can & do laugh at myself often) at how over organised I like to try and be. My OH calls me the most disorganised organizsed person he knows. He’s the opposite so we compliment each other well in out chaotic life.
This is my combined list for what you may need when going into hospital to have a baby
